Milica Opačić is a British-Serbian artist and actress, currently based in Belgrade, Serbia, with over sixteen years of experience in the arts. Her career began in the performing arts, culminating in a degree in Drama from Queen Mary University of London (member of the prestigious Russell Group). Following her studies, Milica’s enduring passion for fine art led her to immerse herself in exploring patterns, symbolism, and cultural connections, with a particular focus on recurring shapes and imagery that transcend time and geography.

Throughout her career, she has contributed to hundreds of projects across the arts, spanning acting, scenography, prop creation, and the production of contemporary artworks and installations. This multidisciplinary approach reflects a seamless blending of performance, design, and visual art, allowing her to investigate creative expression from multiple perspectives.

Milica’s work is characterized by her fascination with pattern, texture, and intricate detail. Central themes in her practice include spirituality, history, community, and cultural heritage, which she explores across a diverse range of mediums, including acrylic, oil, watercolour,  textile, paper and engraving on wood. In her acrylic works, she creates rich textures through thousands of deliberate markings applied with relief liner, a repetitive, meditative process that embodies both discipline and devotion.
